Angelus has officially launched the Cronografo Telemetro in a new and highly exclusive “Blu Ministeriale” colorway, adding a refined Italian-inspired edition to its award-winning chronograph lineup.

Developed in collaboration with a select group of family-run Italian retailers, the watch reimagines the classic Chronographe Télémètre with a stronger cultural identity tied to Italy’s design heritage and aesthetic traditions.
Rather than being a simple color update, the “Blu Ministeriale” edition is meant to represent a deeper connection between Swiss watchmaking precision and Italian style sensibility. The deep blue tone is inspired by official Italian government vehicles and institutions, symbolizing authority, elegance, and quiet prestige.

This signature shade gives the timepiece a more meaningful identity, positioning it as both a functional instrument and a cultural statement that reflects Italy’s history, formality, and design language.
The 37mm watch is powered by a manual-winding movement and features a carefully detailed dial that emphasizes texture and depth. Its grained surface creates visual complexity, while a satin-finished outer ring adds a clean contrast that frames the display.

Gold-tone numerals and hour markers bring warmth and refinement to the design, while subtle red accents introduce a controlled visual highlight without overwhelming the dial’s elegant structure.

Angelus has also kept production extremely limited, with only 30 pieces made in total across both gold and steel versions, making it one of the brand’s most exclusive modern releases.

The combination of craftsmanship, heritage inspiration, and scarcity positions the Blu Ministeriale as a collector-focused timepiece aimed at enthusiasts who value both storytelling and mechanical artistry.

Pricing for the watch ranges between approximately $24,500 and $46,000, depending on the case material. Interested collectors can find more details through Angelus’ official website.
