The Netflix MMA event headlined by Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano attracted a major global audience, drawing an average of 12.4 million viewers worldwide.

According to data from VideoAmp, G&G Closed Circuit Events, and Netflix, the event recorded an average minute audience across Live+1 viewing. At its peak, nearly 17 million people tuned in to watch the main fight between Rousey and Carano.

The matchup marked a return to competition for both fighters after long breaks from the sport. Rousey had not competed since 2016, while Carano last fought in 2009 before shifting her focus to acting.

The fight ended quickly, with Rousey defeating Carano in just 17 seconds using an armbar submission, adding to the high drama surrounding the event.

Other fights on the card also drew attention. Mike Perry defeated Nate Diaz by TKO, while Francis Ngannou secured a first-round knockout over Philipe Lins.

In the United States, the three featured fights averaged 9.3 million viewers, with the Rousey vs Carano bout again leading at 11.6 million at its peak.

Despite strong numbers, the event did not reach the same level as other recent Netflix combat sports broadcasts. Earlier events such as Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua and Terence Crawford vs Canelo Álvarez attracted significantly higher audiences, while the Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson fight remains Netflix’s most-watched combat sports event.

The event was produced by Most Valuable Promotions and EverWonder, as part of Netflix’s growing push into live sports programming.
