Drake has marked the release of his new album Iceman with an unusual and extravagant gift, a full-scale ice sculpture of a Formula 1 race car.
The sculpture recreates Kimi Räikkönen’s 2006 McLaren, a car tied to the Finnish driver’s “Iceman” nickname era. According to a press release, the piece was built at a 1:1 scale using original design data, turning the race car into a frozen replica meant to celebrate Drake’s latest music era.
The reveal matches the larger success surrounding the album. Iceman recently topped the Billboard charts, helping Drake surpass Jay-Z for the most No. 1 albums by a solo male artist. The milestone also adds to his growing list of record-breaking achievements in music.
With the release of Iceman, Maid of Honour, and Habibti, Drake now holds 15 No. 1 albums and 14 No. 1 singles. This run also places him ahead of previous records held by both Jay-Z and Michael Jackson in different chart categories.
To celebrate, Drake shared images of himself surrounded by balloons and celebratory visuals. One message displayed near him read, “Neck broke from carrying the chain, back broke from carrying the game, records broken carry on my name,” reflecting his confidence following the album rollout.
Despite mixed reactions from some listeners, Drake has dismissed criticism, pointing to earlier projects like Take Care as examples of music that grows on audiences over time.
Streaming platforms have also confirmed the project’s strong performance. Spotify reported that Iceman became the most-streamed album in a single day for 2026, while the track “Make Them Cry” set a new single-day streaming record for the year.
