Caitlin Clark continues to reshape basketball both on and off the court, with her popularity now clearly reflected in merchandise sales. The Indiana Fever guard has secured the second spot in overall U.S. basketball jersey sales, a ranking that includes both NBA and WNBA players.
According to sports retailer Fanatics, only Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry has sold more jerseys than Clark. She has outpaced several of the biggest names in basketball, including LeBron James, Luka Dončić, and even historically popular Michael Jordan jerseys in current sales comparisons.
Clark’s rise in merchandise demand began even before her professional debut. After being selected first overall in the 2024 WNBA Draft, her Indiana Fever jersey sold out within an hour, setting a record for the fastest-selling draft pick jersey across all sports on Fanatics.
That early momentum has only grown stronger during her rookie season. Fanatics reported a massive surge in WNBA player merchandise sales overall, with league apparel rising by more than 1,000 percent year over year, largely driven by Clark’s arrival and popularity.
Her influence has also lifted other players in her draft class, with names like Angel Reese and Kate Martin also ranking highly in WNBA jersey sales. However, Clark remains the clear leader within the league by a wide margin.
As her popularity continues to grow, Clark is seen as a major force in expanding the visibility and commercial value of women’s basketball. Her impact is already reshaping expectations for future WNBA stars entering the league.
