Forbes has unveiled the 11th edition of its annual list of America’s Richest Self-Made Women, highlighting some of the most successful female entrepreneurs, executives, and entertainers in the country.
This year’s ranking includes 43 self-made female billionaires who have built their fortunes through business ventures, investments, and personal brands. Leading the list for the ninth consecutive year is Diane Hendricks, founder and chairwoman of ABC Supply, with an estimated net worth of $21.7 billion.
Several of the biggest names in music and entertainment also secured places on the prestigious list. Beyoncé and Rihanna were both ranked at No. 39, each with an estimated net worth of $1 billion. Beyond their music careers, both artists have built successful businesses in industries such as beauty, fashion, and hair care.
Reality television star and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian ranked No. 25 with an estimated fortune of $1.9 billion. Her wealth has been fueled by multiple business ventures, including her highly successful fashion and beauty brands.
Meanwhile, global music superstar Taylor Swift secured the No. 23 position with an estimated net worth of $2 billion. Swift’s ranking comes after years of record-breaking success in music, including the highest-grossing concert tours in history and continued dominance across streaming platforms and album sales.
Media icon Oprah Winfrey also remained among the wealthiest women on the list. Ranked No. 16, Winfrey’s estimated net worth stands at $3.4 billion, reflecting decades of success in television, media, publishing, and investments.
According to Forbes Executive Editor Luisa Kroll, this year's rankings demonstrate how women are increasingly creating wealth across rapidly growing industries.
“This year’s ranking reflects a major shift in where wealth is being created. Women are building billion-dollar businesses in some of the fastest-moving sectors of the economy, particularly artificial intelligence, software and consumer platforms, while also turning personal brands into powerful business empires.”
For Beyoncé, the recognition marks another milestone in an already historic career. The singer officially reached billionaire status last year, joining her husband, Jay-Z, whose estimated net worth is approximately $2.8 billion.
A major contributor to Beyoncé’s growing fortune was her highly successful Cowboy Carter Tour, which generated an estimated $407 million in ticket sales and became the highest-grossing country music tour in history.
The latest Forbes ranking highlights how many of today’s biggest entertainers have transformed their fame into thriving business empires, creating wealth that extends far beyond music, television, and social media.
