Tom Holland has addressed ongoing rumors suggesting he and Zendaya may have quietly gotten married after the actress’s stylist, Law Roach, appeared to hint at it earlier this year.
In a recent interview with Esquire, Holland was asked directly about the wedding speculation. The discussion follows Zendaya’s lighthearted response to the rumors during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in March. Holland also referenced viral AI-generated images of the couple’s supposed wedding, which spread widely on social media and even reached his family.
He recalled how convincing the fake images looked, saying his grandmother saw them online and questioned why she had not been invited. The actor noted that similar conversations with other relatives were not needed.
“No, because they were all there,” the Odyssey star said.
The statement has been widely interpreted as a subtle confirmation that a private ceremony may have already taken place. However, Holland declined to give any further explanation or clarification on the matter.
“That’s all you’ll get on that,” he added.
The rumors initially gained momentum after Zendaya’s longtime stylist, Law Roach, casually mentioned during a red carpet interview at the 2026 Actor Awards that the couple’s wedding “already happened.” Zendaya later addressed the situation, noting that many people were misled by the viral AI-generated wedding photos.
Despite the speculation, Holland used the interview to reflect on his relationship with Zendaya in more personal terms. He spoke about the comfort and understanding they share as public figures navigating fame together.
“We can support each other in ways that only we can, because only we understand really what it’s like to live this life, and I think that is such a luxury, because I just don’t understand how I would be able to have anything like that with anyone else,” he said. “I found my person. She’s my best friend, and I’m the happiest I have ever been when I’m with her, but I have also never felt so supported and safe, ever. Period.”
The pair first met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016 and went public with their relationship in 2021. Reports later claimed they purchased a home together in London, and they were said to have become engaged in December 2024.
