Luxury watchmaker Richard Mille has partnered with legendary Italian bicycle manufacturer Colnago to introduce the RM 64-01 Tourbillon Colnago, an exclusive watch that celebrates the craftsmanship and engineering behind professional racing bikes.

Limited to only 50 watches worldwide, the new model combines Richard Mille's expertise in haute horology with Colnago's long history of building some of the world's most iconic racing bicycles.

The design takes direct inspiration from Colnago's famous bicycle frames, with nearly every part of the watch reflecting details commonly found on high-performance road bikes.

At the heart of the watch is a highly skeletonized manual-winding tourbillon movement that has been designed to resemble the structure of a racing bicycle. Its titanium bridges feature star-shaped designs inspired by Colnago's famous "Master" bike frames from the 1980s.

The movement contains 274 microblasted Grade 5 titanium components, carefully arranged to mirror the layout of a bicycle's drivetrain. The mainspring barrel is positioned at the top of the movement, while the variable-inertia tourbillon sits opposite it, creating a balanced appearance similar to a bike's mechanical system.

The movement also delivers an impressive 65-hour power reserve, allowing the watch to continue running for nearly three days after being fully wound.

The watch case has also been specially designed to reflect the partnership between the two brands.

It is crafted from White Quartz TPT®, a lightweight and durable composite material, with striking Azure Blue Quartz TPT® accents developed exclusively for this edition. The vibrant blue color pays tribute to Colnago's racing heritage and gives the watch a distinctive appearance.

For the first time on one of Richard Mille's sports watches, 5N red gold has been incorporated into the design. The precious metal appears on the inner flange, crown cap, and specially shaped hands, which are designed to resemble bicycle crank arms.

Adding another unique touch, the crown features Colnago's famous Ace of Clubs logo, highlighting the close collaboration between the two companies.

Many of the watch's smallest details continue the cycling theme. Microblasted titanium hub caps, hand-painted bridges finished in white, blue, and red gold, and carefully crafted structural elements all reflect the precision and craftsmanship found in Colnago's world-renowned bicycles.

Richard Mille says the movement was developed around three key principles: lightness, transparency, and volume. These ideas closely match the philosophy behind modern racing bike design, where reducing weight while maintaining strength is essential.

The RM 64-01 Tourbillon Colnago is not only designed as a luxury timepiece but also as a tribute to decades of innovation in both watchmaking and competitive cycling.

With production limited to just 50 pieces globally, the watch is expected to become one of the rarest collaborations in Richard Mille's collection.

Richard Mille has not yet announced official pricing, but additional information on availability will be released through the brand's official channels.
