LISA and PlayStation are teaming up once again, this time with a limited-edition DualSense wireless controller inspired and designed in collaboration with the K-pop star.
The new controller is scheduled to officially launch on October 30 and will be available for $84.99. Fans will also be able to place their pre-orders starting October 2 at 10 a.m. ET through PlayStation and select retailers around the world.
The collaboration follows LISA’s previous involvement with PlayStation, after the BLACKPINK member appeared in a PS5 campaign last year. The new partnership gives fans a physical product that combines PlayStation’s gaming hardware with elements associated with LISA’s personal style.
The controller comes in PlayStation’s Chroma Pearl colorway, giving it a distinctive finish while allowing the custom artwork and details to stand out. Several elements were specifically created around LISA, making the controller different from the standard DualSense design.
One of the most noticeable details is the front touchpad, which features illustrations inspired by LISA’s iconic bangs and eyes. The design also includes her signature stars and bold “LL” lettering, adding personal touches throughout the controller.
LISA was directly involved in creating the look of the controller and said the collaboration allowed her to incorporate details that her fans would recognize.
“Gaming is something I do whenever I have time to relax, so getting to create this collection with PlayStation was very exciting,” she said in a statement. “I had a lot of fun adding in little details that I knew my fans would notice, and I wanted the fans to have something they can connect with.”
The controller is only part of the collaboration. PlayStation and LISA are also releasing a larger merchandise collection that will include a range of clothing and accessories designed around the partnership.
The collection will be released in two different assortments. Fans can expect items including apparel, hats, tote bags, stickers, keychains and a dedicated carrying case for the DualSense controller.
The additional merchandise gives fans more ways to participate in the collaboration beyond the controller itself. The collection is also designed to connect the gaming brand with LISA’s growing solo identity as she prepares for her sophomore solo project.
Pre-orders for the LISA limited-edition DualSense controller and the first assortment of LISA x PlayStation merchandise will open October 2 at 10 a.m. ET through PlayStation and selected global retailers.
A second assortment of LISA merchandise is scheduled to arrive on October 23 through LISA’s official Amazon store, giving fans another wave of products to choose from before the controller officially launches.
The controller itself will then be available on October 30, although availability may vary by market and retailer. As a limited-edition release, quantities are expected to be restricted compared with standard DualSense controllers.
The partnership also arrives as LISA continues expanding her presence beyond BLACKPINK and into her solo career. Her connection with gaming gives PlayStation another opportunity to bring its hardware to an audience that already follows the singer closely.
For LISA, the collaboration combines two areas of entertainment that have become increasingly connected, music and gaming. For PlayStation, it creates a customized piece of hardware tied to a globally recognized artist and her fanbase.
The LISA x PlayStation collection is therefore more than a redesigned controller. It is a full merchandise collaboration that brings together custom gaming hardware, fashion and accessories while giving fans several different ways to connect with the project.
