Michael B. Jordan appeared at Amazon’s Upfront presentation in New York to introduce three major television projects being developed through his production company, Outlier Society. Instead of focusing on acting, Jordan highlighted his growing role as a producer and creative executive.

One of the biggest announcements was The Greatest, a new series based on the life of legendary boxer Muhammad Ali. The project is especially important because it is the first scripted series about Ali officially approved by his estate. Created by Ben Watkins, the show will follow Ali’s journey from his early days as Cassius Clay to becoming one of the most famous athletes in history. Ali’s wife, Lonnie Ali, is also involved as a consultant. Actor Jaalen Best has been cast to play the lead role.

Jordan also revealed Delphi, a new spinoff connected to the Creed movie franchise. The series is being developed with director Ryan Coogler, who helped launch Jordan’s career as Adonis Creed. Production for the show is set to begin in Los Angeles on May 18, with Marco Ramirez serving as showrunner.

The third project announced was Fourth Wing, a TV adaptation of Fourth Wing by author Rebecca Yarros. The fantasy novel became a huge bestseller after its release in 2023. Jordan’s company secured the rights to the series before the first book was even published. The show will be executive produced by Jordan and Yarros, while Meredith Averill will serve as showrunner. Lisa Joy is set to direct the first episode.

Together, the three projects show how Jordan is building Outlier Society into a major production company focused on different kinds of storytelling, from sports biographies and franchise expansions to fantasy entertainment. Amazon executives also hinted that their partnership with Jordan is expected to continue growing in the future.
