Manchester City Women have officially been crowned champions of the 2025/26 Women’s Super League, winning the club’s first league title in 10 years. The team sealed the trophy after a dominant campaign that included a stunning 13-match winning streak and a record-breaking 58 league goals.

The title celebrations began after City defeated West Ham in their final home game of the season. Players, staff, and supporters gathered to mark one of the most successful years in the club’s recent history.

Team captain Alex Greenwood praised the squad’s hard work and unity throughout the season. She explained that the title was earned through months of dedication, teamwork, and belief from everyone involved at the club.

To celebrate the achievement, Manchester City and PUMA hosted a large homecoming party at Manchester’s famous Albert Hall. More than a thousand fans attended the event to celebrate alongside the players and coaching staff.

The celebration included live music performances, a trophy presentation, and custom one-of-one jackets created from this season’s jerseys by Vintage Threads. Popular DJ group Girls Don’t Sync also performed during the night.

Head coach Andrée Jeglertz also received praise after becoming only the second manager in WSL history to win the league title during his first season in charge of a club.

Jeglertz said the squad stayed united during both difficult and successful moments throughout the season. He added that the club still has bigger goals ahead and believes this title could be the start of an even stronger future for Manchester City Women.
