Konstantin Chaykin has unveiled a new addition to his playful Wristmons collection, this time inspired by Matroskin, a popular cartoon cat from the Russian animated series Three from Prostokvashino.

The watch transforms the character into a fully functional luxury timepiece, combining creative design with high-end watchmaking. Chaykin is known for turning watch dials into expressive “faces,” and this new model continues that tradition in a more detailed and character-driven way.

The watch features a 40mm stainless steel case shaped with cat-like details, including ear-shaped extensions on the top. One of the standout design elements is the cat’s whiskers, which are engraved using a special guilloché technique that flows from the dial onto the bezel, creating a seamless visual effect.
The dial itself brings the character to life using Chaykin’s signature “Joker-style” design. The eyes act as moving indicators for hours and minutes, while the smiling mouth shows the moonphase, making the watch appear expressive and animated.
It is paired with a striped leather strap designed specifically for this edition, matching the look of Matroskin from the cartoon.

Inside, the watch is powered by the automatic Caliber K.18-27 movement, based on the La Joux-Perret G200 and customized for Chaykin’s workshop.

The “Matroskin” Wristmons is strictly limited to just 55 pieces worldwide and is priced at around $25,000. It is available through Chaykin’s official channels and selected retailers.
