Kith and adidas have officially teamed up with football legend Lionel Messi for one of the biggest sportswear collaborations of the year.
The collection was created to celebrate two major milestones: 20 years since Messi’s international football debut and Kith’s 15th anniversary. Designed by Kith founder Ronnie Fieg alongside Messi, the project combines football culture, luxury fashion and streetwear into one large capsule collection.
The release includes both on-field football gear and off-field lifestyle clothing. The football side of the collection features four special jerseys inspired by different stages of Messi’s career. Two jerseys celebrate the No. 19 shirt he wore early in his international career, while the others feature his famous No. 10 number.
Matching shorts, goalkeeper kits and tracksuits are also included, giving the collection a complete football-inspired look.
Away from the pitch, the collaboration expands into premium fashion pieces. The lifestyle range includes double-breasted suits, crossover blazers, washed denim outfits and wool tracksuits, all designed with custom Kith and Messi branding.
Footwear plays a major role in the release as well. The collection includes six different sneaker and boot styles inspired by both football performance and everyday fashion. Among them are updated versions of the COPA Mundial 17 UltraBOOST, the F50 Megaride and football boots inspired by the pair Messi wore during the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
Fans can also expect premium versions of classic adidas silhouettes like the Handball Spezial and Superstar sneakers.
To make the drop even more special, customers who purchase selected jerseys or footwear will receive limited-edition trading cards. Some lucky buyers will even receive rare PSA-graded cards personally signed by Messi, with fewer than 100 available worldwide.
The campaign for the collection debuted with a short film titled The International Language of Messi, which was first shown at Inter Miami’s stadium during a special early launch event.
The full “Kith & Messi for adidas Football” collection officially releases on May 29 at Kith stores worldwide and online through the Kith website and app.
