Khaby Lame is stepping into the gaming world with a surprise appearance in the upcoming James Bond video game 007 First Light.
Game developer IO Interactive announced the cameo on social media, showing a short clip where a young James Bond asks for directions. Standing nearby, Khaby responds in his classic silent style, pointing out the obvious answer without saying a word, matching the humor he is known for online.
The studio said it worked directly with Khaby Lame during production. He was scanned for the game, and his outfit was also designed in collaboration with the developers to closely match his real-life appearance and personality.
The announcement came just days before the official release of 007 First Light, which arrives on May 27 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, with a later release planned for Nintendo Switch 2.
The game follows a younger version of James Bond before he becomes a 00 agent, serving as an origin story that explores how he enters the world of espionage.
Early footage of the game was briefly leaked online after physical copies were reportedly accessed ahead of release, leading to clips of the opening minutes appearing on YouTube.
Khaby’s cameo adds a light, comedic moment to the spy-focused storyline, blending internet culture with one of gaming’s most iconic franchises.
