Kevin Hart’s roast special on Netflix recorded 13.5 million views during the May 11–17 tracking week, making it the platform’s most-watched TV title of the week.

The special, titled The Roast of Kevin Hart, was part of the Netflix Is a Joke Festival and was released at the end of the previous viewing cycle, meaning it had less time to build early momentum in its debut week.

Compared to earlier roast events, Hart’s performance came in slightly lower than Tom Brady’s 2024 roast, which reached 13.8 million views in its first full week after debuting with 2 million viewers on its opening night.

Even though Hart’s special did not chart on the Top 10 during its first night, its full-week performance still made it the most-watched title overall for that period.

The slight difference between the two roasts amounts to about a 2% drop in total weekly viewership compared to Brady’s event.

Other popular titles on Netflix during the same week included Worst Ex Ever, Nemesis, and Legends, all drawing millions of views but falling behind Hart’s special in overall ranking.

The results show continued strong interest in Netflix comedy roast specials, even as viewership patterns vary depending on release timing and competition from other shows.
