Doja Cat has publicly called on Elon Musk to restore the audio post feature on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter. The singer made the request in a post on Wednesday, asking for the return of voice-based posting, a feature that appears to have been removed earlier in 2025.

In her message, she directly appealed to Musk, writing: “Hey Elon if u see this please put the audio post feature back on here. Thanks,” showing interest in bringing back a tool that allowed users to share voice-style posts. However, her request quickly gained attention for another reason.

Alongside the request, Doja Cat also directed a series of insults at Musk, which overshadowed the actual feature request and sparked widespread reactions across social media. The tone of the post led many users to focus more on the personal remarks than the platform suggestion itself.

The audio post feature she referenced is believed to be linked to voice notes or voice-based updates that were reportedly removed from the platform in early 2025. While users can still send voice messages through direct messages, the public audio posting option appears to no longer be available.

Since acquiring X in 2022, Elon Musk has made several major changes to the platform, including leadership restructuring and product removals. The platform has also faced shifts in user activity and advertising revenue over time as it transitioned under his ownership.

Doja Cat’s post adds to a growing list of celebrity comments directed at Musk on X, where public figures often use the platform to request features, criticize decisions, or engage directly with the company’s owner in real time.
