Singer and actress Chloe Bailey has shared the story of how she discovered a former boyfriend had allegedly been unfaithful, revealing that a few unexpected items in his bathroom were enough to make her suspicious.
Speaking on the Call Her Daddy podcast with host Alex Cooper, Bailey explained that she noticed an eyelash extension that wasn't hers, along with a hair tie lying on the shower floor while visiting her then-boyfriend.
Instead of confronting him immediately, Bailey said she decided to stay calm and quietly document what she had found.
"I kept it internal and I took a picture of it," Bailey said. "And I texted my godmom and she's like my voice of reason. Halle, she'll have me crash out."
She admitted she had no idea who the other woman might have been but felt the items were enough to raise serious questions. Rather than causing an argument that night, Bailey chose to wait until the next morning before bringing it up.
She even joked that she pretended she had just noticed the evidence because she still wanted to enjoy one last peaceful evening together.
"And then I walked in the bathroom like it was brand new. Like I just saw it 'cause I still wanted my night of cuddles. I'm that toxic."
According to Bailey, when she eventually confronted her former partner, he denied cheating despite the evidence she had found.
The singer also spoke about how she dealt with the emotional aftermath of the relationship. Instead of seeking dramatic revenge, she admitted she briefly entertained conversations with men she normally wouldn't have been interested in.
"And then once I'm out of it, I just won't text them back," she said.
Bailey has previously spoken publicly about her views on infidelity.
During an appearance on The Zach Sang Show in 2023, she revealed that she had experienced cheating in past relationships more than once and made it clear that betrayal was something she could not forgive.
"I'm like 'You know, we aren't perfect humans, but you cheat on me? I'm out.' And they don't believe me until their number is blocked."
Her latest comments offer another personal glimpse into how she handled heartbreak, emphasizing that while she may have taken time to process what happened, cheating has always been a firm deal-breaker for her.
