Cardi B is leading the 2026 BET Awards nominations after earning six nominations following the success of her second studio album, Am I the Drama?

The Bronx rapper received nominations in some of the night’s biggest categories, including Album of the Year and Best Female Hip Hop Artist. She also earned a Best Collaboration nomination for “Errtime Remix” alongside Jeezy and Latto, while her hit song “Outside” picked up a nomination for Viewers’ Choice.

Cardi was also recognized for her visual creativity with a nomination for Video Director of the Year. In addition, she received a nomination for the newly introduced Fashion Vanguard Award, highlighting her growing influence in music and fashion.

Right behind Cardi on the nominations list are Kendrick Lamar and Mariah the Scientist, who both earned five nominations each. Several other major artists received four nominations, including Doechii, Doja Cat, Clipse, Teyana Taylor, Olivia Dean, and Latto.

Other stars with multiple nominations include A$AP Rocky, Bruno Mars, Bryson Tiller, Chris Brown, Jill Scott, Kehlani, Metro Boomin, SZA, and T.I..

Cardi’s album Am I the Drama? was released in September 2025, arriving seven years after her debut album, Invasion of Privacy. The project debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, making Cardi the first female rapper ever to have her first two albums debut at the top of the chart.

Following the album’s release, Cardi launched her Little Miss Drama Tour, which ran from February through April 2026. The tour sold more than 450,000 tickets and reportedly earned around $70 million across 35 shows, further proving her continued dominance in music and entertainment.

Here’s the complete list of nominees for the 2026 BET Awards. They are divided into Music, General, Film/TV and Sports categories, followed by a list of top nominees in numerical order.
