Bruno Mars has jokingly reacted to Drake sharing the stage with his “Latina crush,” Karol G.
The moment happened Sunday, September 27, when Karol G brought Drake out during her Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour stop in Houston, Texas. The pair performed their collaboration “Ahí,” along with Drake’s hits “One Dance” and “Janice STFU.”
After seeing footage of the performance, Mars shared his reaction on Instagram the following day, using a photo of himself looking serious while sitting on a plane.
“When you see Drake dancing with your latina crush in 4k @karolg @champagnepapi,” Mars captioned the photo. “Respond to me asap!! I have to get her back! I must get her back! I will get her back!”
The joke comes as Mars and Drake both have ties to Karol G’s latest album, No Me Arrepiento De Sentir Tanto.
Drake appears on “Ahí,” while Mars collaborated with Karol G on “Still,” her second full-length English-language track. The pair performed the song together at SoFi Stadium last month, and footage from that performance appears in its official music video.
Mars’ post adds a playful twist to the Houston performance, with the singer jokingly positioning himself as a rival for Karol G’s attention while celebrating the moment between two of her collaborators.
