Audemars Piguet and Swatch have teamed up to launch a new collaboration called “Royal Pop,” a bold collection of eight Bioceramic watches that reimagine traditional luxury watch design through a playful Pop Art style.

Instead of being worn only on the wrist, the watches are designed for flexible use. Each piece comes with a leather lanyard so it can be worn around the neck, attached to a bag, or carried like a small accessory. A stand is also included, allowing it to be displayed as a desk or table clock.

The collection features eight different color designs inspired by the original Audemars Piguet Royal Oak’s shape and screw pattern. Six models use a simple two-hand layout, while two others include a small seconds dial for added detail.

Each version has its own bold personality. For example, one model uses a clean white case with multi-colored screw accents, while others mix bright combinations like pink, red, blue, and orange to create a more expressive look.

Inside the watches is Swatch’s upgraded SISTEM51 movement, a mechanical system designed for long-lasting performance with a 90-hour power reserve. It also includes anti-magnetic technology originally developed with Audemars Piguet, and parts of the movement are visible through a transparent caseback.

The collection will launch on May 16, 2026, at select Swatch stores. Sales will be limited to one watch per person per day due to expected high demand. Proceeds from Audemars Piguet will go toward supporting traditional watchmaking skills and training future craftsmen in the industry.
