Alfa Romeo has revealed an exclusive one-off version of its flagship 33 Stradale supercar, introducing the 2026 33 Stradale Perla Nera as a showcase of the brand’s most personalized design work.

Created through Alfa Romeo’s Bottegafuoriserie division, the special model was commissioned by an unnamed collector who wanted a darker and more distinctive interpretation of the 33 Stradale.
The Perla Nera, which translates to “Black Pearl,” takes a completely monochromatic approach. Almost every visible surface has been designed around shades of black, giving the car a dramatic appearance while allowing its carbon-fiber construction to remain a major part of the visual identity.
The exterior uses a matte black treatment over exposed carbon-fiber bodywork. Rather than simply applying a dark finish to the completed body, the carbon fiber itself forms an important part of the car’s appearance.
According to Alfa Romeo, the carbon-fiber panels were laid by hand inside their molds. This process allows technicians to carefully position the weave so it follows the complex aerodynamic shapes and surfaces of the vehicle.

The exterior theme continues with custom black three-spoke alloy wheels and matching black brake calipers. Together with the dark bodywork, these details give the Perla Nera a stealth-like appearance without removing the sharp lines that define the 33 Stradale.
Underneath the body is a carbon-fiber monocoque combined with an H-frame aluminum chassis. The lightweight structure provides the foundation for the supercar while helping maintain the rigidity required for its performance-focused design.
Power comes from a twin-turbocharged V6 combustion engine producing 620 horsepower. The engine sends its output to the rear wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, giving the Perla Nera a traditional rear-wheel-drive performance setup.
The choice of the V6 is particularly notable because Alfa Romeo had also announced an electric powertrain for the 33 Stradale. However, the company says no customers have selected the EV version so far.

That makes the Perla Nera another example of how individual collectors can influence the final character of an ultra-exclusive vehicle. For this particular commission, the owner chose the combustion-powered configuration and built the rest of the car around a very specific visual theme.
The same black-focused approach continues inside the cabin. Exposed carbon fiber is paired with Alcantara upholstery, creating a darker environment that mirrors the exterior rather than introducing contrasting colors.
The cabin has also been tailored specifically to the owner. The sports seats were redesigned around the collector’s physical requirements, adding another layer of personalization beyond the standard specification.
Traditional Alfa Romeo design references have been incorporated throughout the interior as well. The door cards and door sills feature a classic cannelloni pattern, while the Quadrifoglio and Autodelta logos bring recognizable elements from Alfa Romeo’s performance heritage into the modern cabin.

Even the driver controls have been customized. The owner’s initials are incorporated into the rotary selector, turning a functional component into another personal detail unique to this particular car.
The Perla Nera name also appears throughout the vehicle, reinforcing the identity of the one-off build. The custom logo can be found in several areas, including the rear-wall storage compartment.
That compartment carries a 03/33 numbering plate, identifying the vehicle’s position within the 33-car production run. The same 03/33 designation is also applied to a bespoke luggage set wrapped in Alcantara and created specifically for the car.
The numbering is significant because the entire 33 Stradale production run has already been sold, despite the model carrying a starting price of more than $2 million.

The strong demand for the limited-production supercar also highlights the growing role of bespoke personalization in the ultra-luxury automotive market. For buyers at this level, exclusivity is increasingly about more than simply owning a rare model, with individual specifications allowing collectors to create vehicles that reflect their own tastes.
The Perla Nera demonstrates just how far that approach can go, with its materials, colors, seating, controls, logos, luggage and even production identification tailored around a single customer.
Rather than creating another standard version of the 33 Stradale, Alfa Romeo used the commission as an opportunity to demonstrate what its Bottegafuoriserie program can offer when a collector is given extensive control over the final specification.

The one-off Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale Perla Nera is currently being displayed at the Museo Alfa Romeo in Arese, Italy. Visitors will have the opportunity to see the bespoke supercar in person until October 18.
